Recipes of healthy, sweet and fresh desserts

It’s time to #stayhome and with it comes the desire to taste something sweet and fresh.

The problem is that this, often, means ruining the diet with, for example, an ice cream loaded with sugar.

But it doesn’t have to be that way!

In addition to the healthier options that already exist on the market, you can get to work and prepare your own fresh and, above all, healthy sweet desserts.

In this article I’ll give you some ideas of sweet, fresh and healthy desserts so that you can enjoy without feeling guilty!

Before you start:

First of all, it’s important to check if you have the necessary ingredients at home to prepare a healthy dessert at any time.

To do this, buy some substitutes for white sugar in advance:

coconut sugar

  • Maple Syrup – natural sweetener. It’s made from the sap of trees;

cinnamon

  • Honey – natural. Produced by bees;
  • Stevia – a natural plant from Paraguay that can also be found in other parts of the world;

Sweet, fresh and healthy recipes

Strawberry ice cream

Melon and pineapple slushie

Ingredients:

  • Ice (as needed)
  • 200 g of frozen melon
  • 200 g of frozen pineapple
  • 3 tablespoons of stevia

Preparation:

  • Cut the melon and pineapple into small pieces and freeze
  • Put the melon, pineapple and ice cubes in the chopper and grind coarsely
  • Add the stevia
  • Serve in individual cups

Strawberry and walnut ice cream

Ingredients:

  • 350 g of frozen strawberry
  • 1 frozen banana (médium size)
  • 4 tablespoons of almond drink without added sugar
  • 3 tablespoons of coconut sugar

Preparation:

  • Mix the almond drink with the coconut sugar
  • In a chopper, grind the frozen strawberries, the frozen banana and the almond drink with the coconut sugar
  • Move the mixture to a bowl and add the chopped nuts
  • Serve in small cups

Lime mousse

Ingredients:

  • 1 can of coconut milk
  • 2 limes (zest and juice)
  • 1 pack of light cream
  • 2 tablespoons of honey

Preparation:

  • Whip the cream with a hand blender – adding the coconut milk while blending
  • Add the honey, the juice of two limes, the zest of one lime, and mix it gently
  • Refrigerate overnight
  • Serve with grated lime zest as decoration

Chocolate and peanut candies

Ingredients:

  • 200 g of dark chocolate +70% cocoa
  • 4 tablespoons of coconut drink
  • 100 g of coarsely chopped peanuts
  • 1 dessert spoon of vanilla extract
  • 1 dessert spoon of maple syrup

Preparation:

  • Melt the dark chocolate with the coconut milk in a water bath or in the microwave
  • Mix with the coarsely chopped peanuts
  • Add the vanilla extract and maple syrup
  • Place in silicone forms for chocolates or paper forms for cupcakes
  • Refrigerate overnight

Pumpkin and walnut cheesecake

Ingredients:

  • 200 g of quark cheese
  • 6 sheets of neutral flavored gelatin
  • Paste of 20 dates (grind 20 dates until puree)
  • 3 tablespoons of stevia
  • Pumpkin and nut compote without added sugar

Preparation:

  • Mix the oatmeal with the date paste and the cashew puree
  • Cover the mold with baking paper and make the base of the cheesecake with the previous mixture
  • Melt the gelatin sheets in the microwave with 3-4 tablespoons of water
  • Mix the melted gelatin sheets with the quark cheese and add the stevia
  • Pour the quark cheese mixture on the base of oats, dates and cashew puree
  • Refrigerate overnight
  • The next day, place the pumpkin and walnut compote as a topping
  • Serve in slices
